The concept behind E-Gel® has been extended to develop a unique SDS-PAGE system, the E-PAGE™.
E-PAGE™ allows fast SDS-based separation of proteins without the use of an external buffer system. Its horizontal orientation allows convenient loading either manually or through the use of an automated liquid handling system (‘robot’). The UV-transparent cassette enables ongoing monitoring of fluorescent labels on the proteins, such as the LUMIO™ tag.
E-PAGE™ cassettes are also easy to pry open following the run, using a dedicated Butterfly Opener and are amenable to an efficient 7 minute blotting using the
