 The new, sleek iBase™ is the power system accommodating all of Ethrog's small cassettes. Replacing the older Powerbase v.4, the iBase now opens new possibilities to the user: program and run-time selection, clear status indication, and pre-programmed power schemes for all cassettes, including a 7-minute 'speed' separation and a 'reverse' mode to redirect samples back into the collection wells of the CloneWell cassette.
The E-Gel® Safe Imager™ is a standalone blue-light unit, fit to illuminate SYBR Safe-stained gels and identify bands using its add-on orange filter. The E-Gel® Safe Imager™ can be used as a light base fitting underneath the iBase power system, allowing for real-time monitoring and CloneWell band extraction, or as a standalone unit to analyze gels after they are removed from the iBase™.
